Spring House

Hi everyone, it is me again with another fun project for Craftwell.  I have been having so much fun with the new Teresa Collins embossing folders that I can’t help myself and I am going to show you another project today.

Today I am sharing with you a fun little Spring House and box that I made using the Cotton Tail Village SVG Kit from SVGCuts.com.

After the pieces were all cut I used my eBosser and the new Teresa Collins Woodgrain and Beautiful Words embossing folders.

In addition to using the amazing Craftwell eBosser, I used the Teresa Collins ‘Beautiful Words’ embossing folder & ‘Woodgrain’ embossing folders.

Easter Basket

Hi everyone, it is finally Friday and I get to share with you another fun project for Craftwell.

Today I want to share with you another fun project featuring the Teresa Collins ‘Woodgrain’ embossing folder and since it is almost Easter I am making an Easter basket.

You can find the basket here from 3 Under 3 and More.  They also have a nice tutorial on how to assemble the basket.  I increased the size of the pieces to 150% and for all of the strips and the handle after they were cut I used my eBosser and the Teresa Collins ‘Woodgrain’ embossing folder to give the pieces the look I wanted.  The bonus of this embossing folder is I did all of my pieces in 1 single pass which is a real time saver.

Egg-Shaped Container

Hi and Happy Saturday everyone,  so glad you could pop by…

I have a tiny confession…  one of my new favorite challenge blogs is the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog and I find myself itching to play along and put a bit of as Easter spin on it.  The theme for this challenge is “Pick a Stamp, Any Stamp.”  They want to see a stamp (or stamps) on your project so I decided to use a “oldie but goodie” stamp set called “Easter Blessings” from JustRite.  I also pulled out my much “hoarded and coveted “Maja Designs Papers.

For my project I used the Egg-Shaped Container from the Poplar Street Tulips SVG Kit.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Thank you again so very much for stopping by.  I really do appreciate your lovely visits.

Have a wonderful weekend : )

Easter Basket

Hi Everyone,  well, the weekend is almost upon us!  TGIF!  It’s hard to believe Easter is almost upon us as well.

With Easter fast approaching I thought I would share a fun little Easter basket with you using your Cheery Lynn Dies!

They are just so much fun and easy to create and you can put your own personal flair on it.

CLD071-Basket

To make this basket all you need is 12 cuts from the Nesting Eggs and a 6 sided Polygon for the base.

First cut 12 of whatever size die you want, I used the largest one and score them at 1 inch across the bottom.

Step-1

Next attach 1 layer of the dies to the Polygon on all sides

Step-3

I used a second smaller die with some DP to add some flair to the basket

Step-2

Once you have the first layer completed, with the basket face down simply start to glue the second layer  of die cuts in so that they are evenly spaced between the layers, then decorate as desired.

Here’s a list of the dies used for this project:

B126 – Grass Border
B154 – Medium Rose
B155 – Large Rose
B278 – Lady Kate Edger
DL134 – Dancing Doily Lace Border
DL207 – Lace Egg One
DL208 – Lace Egg Two
DL209 – Lace Egg Three
DL210 – Lace Egg Four
DL212 – Lace Egg Six
XM-7 – Oval Classic
XM-18 – Nesting Eggs

I hope you can find some time to visit the challenge this week and put in your entry where the theme is Easter.  With your entry you will have a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.  I hope you enjoyed and visit again soon.  I love to read your comments, they just make my day!

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 22 – Make a Basket

Hi there again,

This has been a good scraping day!  Had lots of fun playing with my Cheery Lynn Dies.  I just love them :-)

I am entering the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 22 – Make a Basket Challenge tonight.

The guidelines for this one is quite simple, make a basket and use Cheery Lynn Dies.

I fired up my trusty Sure-Cuts-A-Lot and created this basket.

The recipe for this one is:

Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish

Cheery Lynn Miniature Rose

Cheery Lynn Medium Rose

Cheery Lynn Large Rose

Cheery Lynn Victorian Romance Flourish

Cheery Lynn Canadian Kaleidoscope Doily

I used the Canadian Kaleidoscope Doily in a frame I created and placed them on each of the 6 sides of the basket.  It took some time but it turned out great.  Also for my flowers I actually used all 3 Rose dies on each flower.  I discovered this by accident one day.  I cut out a bunch of flowers and when I was assembling them I got them mixed up.  The sandwich I used was 3 large, 2 medium and 1 miniature die for each flower.

Thank you for visiting and have a great evening,

Viva la Verve! April Week 1

Good morning,

Just a quick post this morning with an Easter card for this weeks Viva la Verve! Challenge.

Amber gave us a great sketch to work with, so much fun.

Off to play in the garden for a while.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,

Timeless Tuesday challenge #162

Good evening ladies,

Tonight I am creating a card for entry into this weeks Timeless Tuesday challenge #162 by Flourishes.  The theme this week is Easter.  I hope I did the theme justice.

I finally received my order from Flourishes so now I am anxious to join in on the challenges.  I have been admiring, well actually drooling, over the Flourishes stamps for some time now and have finally got some to work with :-)

My only problem is they are all so nice that I have a hard time deciding on which ones to choose!

I am still a novice coloring but I am learning.  It takes a lot more practice than what I thought.  I was seeing all the lovely creations that everyone else was doing and I decided to give it a try.  I have a long way to go but I am trying and having a lot of fun!

Here is my card:

Thank you very much for visiting and have a great evening,
