My First Gate Fold Card

Hi Ladies,

I recently bought a new die from my local craft shop The Cutting Garden and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it.

I had a hard time doing this card because my Big Shot was not big enough to cut the card stock.  I had to improvise and change the size of the card so I could cut it.

I kept the card fairly simple so it did not take away from the design.  Just a few swirls and a small flower to finish it off.

I will definitely try this many more times and I already have a few other designs in mind that I can use this die set for.

Thanks again for visiting and have a great evening everyone,

Orange you lovely ….

Good evening ladies,

Well I can actually say that Kathy had me thinking on this one.  I can also honestly say I’ve never done a monochromatic card  and it took me a while to come up with a color scheme.  I finally decided to go with Oranges and I think that I am pretty happy with it!

I hope you can see by the picture that it is all different shades of orange.  I am, as well as others, having problems getting a good picture.  I have tried many different settings and lights but the colors do not come out as nice as they are in real life.

Here is the best picture I could get.

Thanks for popping by,

My entry for the latest “I Spy Challenge”

Hi there,

I just wanted to post my latest entry in the Splitcoast Stampers I Spy Challenge.  If you are interested in this or would like to learn more, simply click here to be taken to the challenge.

Dani works hard making up the riddle each week that we all have to figure out.  It is a lot of fun and if you have never tried you should.

Here is my card.

Have a great night and thanks for visiting
