My First Mother’s Day Card …

Hi everyone,

Can you believe it’s Wednesday already!¬† The week is flying by… I am not complaining… and we are more than half way to the weekend! Yea ūüôā

I thought I would post my first Mother’s Day Card.¬† I decided to start a little early to try out a couple of designs I had in mind for some special mother’s day cards.¬† Here is my first attempt.

Have a peek and see what you think?

I have few more that I need to experiment with so if you can pop back soon.

Hope you have a wonderful evening

On your special day ….

Good evening to everyone,

I recently got some new Memory Box Dies and I could not wait to use them.

To see what they looked like I cut them all out in white and that got me thinking about a Black and White card.

I also used a new Miniature Rose die from Cherry Lynn Designs and a bow.  I am looking forward to using these dies a lot more.  Hope you like it.

Thanks for popping by and have a great evening,

Thinking of Spring

Good evening everyone,

I was thinking about Spring today while they were calling for snow in the forecast and I thought about the new dies I recently purchased.  While looking out my window and I thought of this.

I used my new dies from Poppystamp.  They are the Grand Madison Window with the matching flower box.  The Wildflower Patch and the Cheery Lynn Tropical Flourish topped off with the Spellbinders Foliage die,.

It was a lot of fun to put together but I must say that it took a lot of patience which I seem to be lacking tonight.¬† I had to take a few breaks, but then again, there is no rush.¬† It’s Friday night!¬† Copic classes tomorrow!

I hope this puts everyone on a Spring mood,

Thank you for visiting and have a good night,

Precious Gifts

Good evening ladies,

This weeks I Spy Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is a little difficult.  The clues we were given are:

I Spy with my little eye:
1. Something that is a gift from God.
2. Something that every single human being was at one point in their life.
3. Some of these are not so innocent.
4. Something that needs to laugh.
5. Something that needs love.

My guess was Children.

I hope you like them.

Thanks for visiting and until next time,

Happy Valentines Day

It’s a few days early but I wanted to make a few Valentines Cards for my company that¬†are coming for dinner tomorrow night.

It’s been a really hard week so I thought that making some cards would put me in a better mood.¬† I used some pre-cut cards that I found in the $1.50 bin at Michael’s and I had a lot of fun with the decorating of them.¬† I hope you like them.

Thank you for visiting and have a good evening

Good evening ladies,

I have created a card for this weeks MIU Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.

This is what we were given for the instructions:

“Your challenge is to make a one layer CAS card. This means your cardbase ONLY. You may choose any color cardstock you want but….absolutely no other layers. No 3D, No Butterflies, No ribbon, No nothing. Also, you may use only 2 colors of ink on your card with no coloring with copics, colored pencils or any other coloring medium.”

So I came up with the following card

Thank you for visiting and have a great evening,

je t’aime (French for “I love you)

Good evening ladies,

Here I am again, the weekend card maker.  I look forward to every weekend getting some time to craft.  The weeks are so long and the weekends are so short that I never seem to have enough time to play in my craft room.  I think it is time to retire so I can play full time but that poses another problem, how to pay for the new stuff.

I have made another Valentines card for one of my friends, just not sure I am going to give it to her.  I have a hard time letting my cards go.  A problem I am sure that a lot of you have.

After Lauren’s last comment about Teddy, he got fired and his assistant got a promotion.¬† This is his first photo shoot and he has already provided me with a 50 page list of demands for his next shoot.¬† I think he is going to get fired as well.

So here we go:

Next stop, the Hat Pin challenge for Dani

Thanks so much for popping by and I always appreciate any feedback,
