Joan’s Gardens Weekly Challenge #13

Happy Easter everyone.

It is had to believe but yesterday I was raking the lawn and tonight it is snowing!  Did someone leave the freezer door open? LOL

Tonight I am creating a card for one of my most favorite challenges.  It is Joan’s Gardens Weekly Challenge.

As always, Selma came up with a beautiful and fun project.

This weeks challenge is to make a Tri-Shutter Card.

This is the first time I have made one of these but it was a lot of fun!  I will be making these again.

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

    Joann: I REALLY liked your Tri-Shutter card. I have a 50th anniversary card to make, and it has given me a lot of ideas. Thanks for sharing. I had to chuckle about your cat. We have Miss Kitty, and when anyone other than my husband and I try to pet her, she hisses at them. I call her “she devil.” LOL
