Happy Easter everyone.
It is had to believe but yesterday I was raking the lawn and tonight it is snowing! Did someone leave the freezer door open? LOL
Tonight I am creating a card for one of my most favorite challenges. It is Joan’s Gardens Weekly Challenge.
As always, Selma came up with a beautiful and fun project.
This weeks challenge is to make a Tri-Shutter Card.
This is the first time I have made one of these but it was a lot of fun! I will be making these again.
Here is my entry:
Thank you for spending the time to look and have a great Easter weekend,
About Castlepark Designs
My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
Hi Joann. This must have taken ages to make. Stunning project and beautifully made.
Hugs to you both.
Joann this is such a beautiful tri-shutter card. Thanks for joining us in our challenge at Joan’s Gardens this week.
Joann: I REALLY liked your Tri-Shutter card. I have a 50th anniversary card to make, and it has given me a lot of ideas. Thanks for sharing. I had to chuckle about your cat. We have Miss Kitty, and when anyone other than my husband and I try to pet her, she hisses at them. I call her “she devil.” LOL
Thank you for your kind words. Good luck with your 50th anniversary card. We call our cat Bob (bundle of badness) even though her name is Squeaker.
She will actually respond to both names!
WOW! Beautiful work! Love your choice of designer papers and embellishments! I totally agree with you … Joan & Selma sure know how to put on a challenge!! LOL
DAR’S CRAFTY CREATIONS

Wow! Love all of the elements on your card! Nicely done…as in…gorgeous!
