JustRite Friday Challenge #070 — “Pretty Papers”

Happy Easter Monday everyone,

Well the weekend is almost over so I have to get ready to go back to work 😦

I have been playing this afternoon in my crafting studio in between all the housework that I successfully put off all weekend.  Today I am creating an entry for this weeks JustRite Friday Challenge #070 — “Pretty Papers”.

Sheri gave us the task this week of creating our own designer paper.

I had to think long and hard on this one.  I was determined to use my new JustRite Musical Notes stamp set and the matching background stamp and wanted to give it a vintage look.

So here is what I eventually came up with:

For the background I used the Shabby Music background stamp and then popped out some of the musical notes from the Musical Notes set.  I also created some corner accents from the same set and heat embossed them to give a different feel to the corners.  After this was all finished I distressed the entire background with Photo Linen distressed ink and added the Lace Borders on the edges on the card in heat embossed Silver to finish it off.

Here is the inside:

I also had a little helper for this one but I think I wore her out

Thank you for visiting and have a great week,
