The Shabby Tea Room Week #120 – ‘Soft & Sweet”

Hi everyone,  Happy Tuesday!

It seems like forever since I’ve had some time to spend in my craft room… but since it was a rainy evening here, I thought it was a great time to try to create a card for this weeks The Shabby Tea Room Week #120 – ‘Soft & Sweet’ Challenge.   I haven’t had a chance the last few weeks to enter as I have been hard at work to finish my project for next week’s Challenge.  I am so honored and excited to be the Guest Designer next week for The Shabby Tea Room Week #121 You’re Invited.  I do hope you will pop back to check out all of the entries and hopefully play along!

This week Lenet is our wonderful host and she has chosen the theme of ‘Soft & Sweet’ along with this absolutely beautiful photo for inspiration.   Lenet asks that you create a card or project inspired by the COLORS in the photo!  Don’t you just love the softness of these!

Here is my take on this great inspirational photo:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  I hope you visit again soon,  I love to read your comments, they make my day!

JustRite Friday Challenge #075 – Color Challenge

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday… my don’t the weekends go by fast.  I didn’t have a lot of play time in my craft room this past weekend so I was determined tonight to spend some time working on a project for this weeks JustRite Friday Challenge.

Sheri has decided to take it easy on us this week and she has asked that create a card or project using the colors referenced in the inspiration photo or similar

At our cottage this weekend we got to watch some really pretty birds visit our bird feeder and I thought I would try to create a card incorporating my version of a bird house.   Here is what I came up with.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Hope you come back again soon,

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 32 – Roses

Hi everyone,

I have been absent for a while but I could not pass up a challenge that features Roses!  Today I want to enter a project in the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 32 – Roses Challenge.  They have a great challenge this week, so if you are lucky enough to have any of their fantastic dies this is the challenge for you!  Pop over to the design blog, there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs this month as well as wonderful inspiration from the design team, you won’t be disappointed!

I must say, they had me at Roses…, well actually any and all flowers, are something I am passionate about but I think I might have mentioned that before : )   This was great since it gave me another opportunity to practice making roses with my Cheery Lynn dies.   The idea for this project came to me last weekend when I was working in the garden.  I had lots of flowers piled into the wheelbarrow to plant ( I find the wheelbarrow makes it so much easier to move around your plants and tools when working in the garden 🙂

Here is what I have created:

The recipe for this project is:

Cheery Lynn French Flair Scalloped

Cheery Lynn Victorian Picket Fence

Cheery Lynn Mini Flourish Band

Cheery Lynn Cuties 3

Cheery Lynn Miniature Rose

Cheery Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip

Cheery Lynn Iris Leaves

Cheery Lynn Olive Branches

Cheery Lynn Stacker Flower #1 Leaf

Cheery Lynn Judy’s Blooms (leaves only)

Thank you so much for taking time to pop by and I hope to see you again very soon : )
