The Shabby Tea Room – Week #122 – ‘Elegance & Lace’

Hi there ladies,

Well I had so much fun last week as the Guest Designer that I could not help myself from entering this weeks challenge.

Tammy is our wonderful host this week and she has chosen the theme of ‘Elegance & Lace’ along with this beautiful photo for inspiration.

Tammy has asked that we create a card or project inspired by the photo USING WHITE/CREAM, KRAFT, PINK and LACE!

When I thought about the photo I thought about how I would love to have a room like this at our cottage.  We have a quaint little cottage in the Annapolis Valley where we love to spend our weekends and any spare time we have.  I hope someday to have a room like this but for now I am happy to create my dreams through my paper crafting : )

I have seen similar ideas on creating a flat image of a dresser on a card but with my “obsession” with 3D projects I decided to try to create a 3 dimensional dresser card.  With a lot of measuring and lots of glue (not to mention a few failed attempts) I am pretty happy with the end result.  Thanks to everyone out there for all of the wonderful inspiration.

Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog.  I hope you check out my blog candy giveaway and also pop back and visit again soon,

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
