Joan’s Gardens Weekly Challenge #40

Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I have entered a card in Joan’s Gardens so I wanted to pop back and play along with this week’s challenge.   I am trying to get some of my Christmas cards done so this was a perfect opportunity.

I just loved this paper.  The color is actually a deep shade of  pink but in the photos it show more on the red tone.  Here is a look at the card open:

This is what is looks like closed:

To make this card I did the following steps:

First cut 2 – 6 inch by 12 inches pieces of paper and score them at 6 inches and 9 inches

Next cut the 2 sides and center of the card

Cut the 2 side pieces in half

Fold the base pieces of your card

Attach the 2 – 6×6 pieces together

Finally attach the background pieces, decorate and enjoy!

For this project I used the following:

B162- Lace Corner Deco B
B183 – Holly Leaves
B241 – Rose Leaf Strip
XL-13 – French Flair – Scalloped LG Stackers Nesting Dies
DL103 – Italian Flourish Doily

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.  I hope you enjoyed and visit again soon.  I love to read your comments, they just make my day!!
