A Bountiful Table

Hi everyone, it’s Friday and I am so happy once again to be here to share a project with you…

I was preparing a nice dinner for my family last weekend and I needed a basket for my dinner rolls.  I went looking and after pulling out all of my baskets and discovering that they were  all in need of replacement I decided on my project this week.  My thinking was, why buy a basket when I can make one and customize it to the occasion?  The basket turned out to be quite sturdy so I could have easily put apples in it but I decided on rolls.  I cannot take credit for the rolls, they came from my local baker.  Hey, a girl has to have priorities, right??

Here is my basket:

I had a ton of fun putting this little beauty together and it took no time!  Oh, by the way, the tiny pine cone, is made from the Cuties 2 die.  I really wanted to add a pine cone so I simply used my quilling tool and just cascaded the strip to make it  look like a pine cone.  Not so bad in a pinch huh??

Here are the dies you will need for this project:

B117 – Fanciful Flourish
B146 – Pine Branches
B150 – Cuties 2 (for the Pine Cone)
B181 – Build a Flower # 1
B201 – Celtic Weave
B215 – Expandable Tiny Borders
B240 – Fall Pumpkins
DL121 – Sunflower
D135 – Dimensional Large Leaves #1
XL-13 – French Flair – Scalloped LG Stackers Nesting Dies
