Heartfelt Creations – Cardinal Card

Hi everyone,

I have a quick post to share today with a cute little Christmas card.

I wanted to try my hand at making a doily from the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Blossom corner die.  Here is how it turned out.

To do this you will need to cut the corner die four times lining up the edges on your paper so it forms a doily.  Why not give it a try?  It really makes a lovely background for any card or layout.

Products Used:

HCD 723 – Garden Romance Die
HCD 729 – Decorative Blossom Corner Die
Heartfelt Creations Cardinal Family Die (Retired)
HCPC 3352 – Snowy Cardinal PreCut Set (Retired)
HCPC 3477 – Bird Haven PreCut Set
HCPC 3554 – Love at Christmas Precut Set

Project Instructions:

Other products: Esquisite Circles, White Cardstock, Red Cardstock, Distressed Ink, self adhesive pearls, Ribbon, 3D foam pads, adhesive and die cutting machine.

Instructions: Cut a 7 x 7  and 7 x 9 piece of White card stock.  On the 7 x 9 piece, on the long side score a line 1 inch in on each side and cut between the 2 score marks on a diagonal and then attach to the 7 x 7 piece.  Repeat the same only reducing the size by 1/4 inch for the Red card stock and  another 1/4 inch for the DP.  Using the Decorative Blossom Corner die, cut it 4 times lining up the edges so it forms a doily and attach to the card.  Stamp, die cut and color the bird house and the snowy Cardinal and layer over your favorite sentiment.

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!
