Purse and Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

In celebration of World Card-making Day on the 5th, I was looking to make a Birthday Card for my 12 year old Niece and was trying to come up with an idea when she dropped by with her mother to show me her new purse that she just got.

So I decided to make her a purse that holds the Birthday Card!

I got the cut file here from SVGCuts.com and you can find the instructions on their site.

Here are the instructions to create this for yourself!

To Make this you will need:

• 1 sheet Birthday Banners (P-0672E)
• 1 sheet from the Garden Paper Pix Package (PP-0031) for the handle and purple flowers
• 2 sheets coordinating card stock
• Sweet Birthday Girl 3D Stickers (STDM-0181E)
Birthday Girl Cardstock Stickers (STCX-0179E)
• 2 Brads to hold on the handle
• Flat back pearls for decoration
• Glue Stick, Double Sided Tape, or your favorite adhesive

1. Follow the directions from SVGCuts.com to build the purse.
2. Using the Garden Paper Pix Package, cut the handle and then fussy cut out the Purple flowers for the front of the purse.
3. Finish embellishing with Glitter Rub-On and 3D stickers.  Hint – I fussy cut a second set of banners and gave them a little curl and glued them on top of the banners on the front of the purse for a little dimension.

Birthday Card

To make this you will need:

• 1 sheet Birthday Girl Tags (P-0671E)
• 1 sheet coordinating card stock for base of card
• 1 piece of patterned paper to provide another layer on the card (optional)
• Glue Stick, Double Sided Tape, or your favorite adhesive

1. Build a standard 5 x 7 card and add a layer, if desired between the Birthday Girl Tag and the base of the card.
2. Use another piece from the same page and fussy cut out the elements you desire to use as added elements.
3. Finish embellishing with Glitter Rub-On and 3D stickers.

I hope you enjoyed and visit again soon.  I love to read your comments, they just make my day!
