Gate-fold Card

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled and excited to share with you my first official post for the Heartfelt Creations DT.  They are all such a talented bunch of ladies and I am honored to be included on the team with them.

I made this flower that I was so proud of and needed a card to showcase the flower.  For that reason a gate-fold card was perfect.

Joann-Larkin-Gatefold

and here is what is looks like when you open it up : )

HCPC 3354 – Classic Message PreCut Set

HCD 738 – Ornamental Add On Die
HCDP1 230 – Sunny Day Paper Collection

Project Instructions:

Other products: Standard Circles Large, Twisted Metal Tags & Accents, Orange  Card stock, Distressed Ink, 3D foam pads, adhesive and die cutting machine.

Instructions: Cut a 6 x 6  piece of DP from the Sunny Day Paper Collection, a 5.5 x 5.5 piece of Orange Card Stock and a 10 x 5 coordinating piece of DP.  Score the 10 x 5 piece on the long side at 2.5 and 8.5 and fold.  To make the window simply place your die cut line up behind the flaps and run through your machine.  Once your pieces are all cut, assemble as shown and make your flower by stamping and die cutting Tattered Blossoms PreCut set and coordinating Tattered Blossoms Die.  Distress and shape petals and leaves then assemble.  Once assembled, attach flower to the center using 3D foam dot inside card and finish with your favorite sentiment.

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!
