Products Used:

HCPC 3570 – Floral Doorway & Latch PreCut Set
HCPC 3576 – A Prayer for the Day PreCut Set
HCD 701 – Posy Patch Die
HCD 741 – Burnished Key Die
HCDP1 238 – Floral Key Paper Collection

Project Instructions:

Other products: Opulent Ovals, Off-White Card Stock. Ribbon and Bling from my stash, Distressed Inks, Copic Markers, 3D Foam Dots, Glitter, Versamark, Embossing Powder, adhesive and die cutting machine.

Instructions: Cut a 5 1/2″ x 12″ piece of card stock for the card and four 5.375″ x 1.875″ pieces for the DP.  Score the card stock on the long side at the 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″ marks and attach the DP.  For the inside, stamp and color the Floral Doorway & Latch PreCut Set, I stamped the same set again this time using Versamark and embossing powder to achieve the vintage look and then fussy cut out the handle and attached it over the first one with 3D foam dots.  Finish the inside by stamping, die cutting and distressing the smallest of the Posy patch flowers and attach them over the existing stamped flowers for dimension.  Finish with a vintage bow made from ribbon and your favorite sentiment.

Thanks so much for visiting today!  I love to read your comments!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
