A Special Hug For You

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled and excited to be showing you some of the products from the new Majestic Morning Collection and I decided to share with you another version of my Octagon Box that I originally made here.  This time I made it much shorter so I could be used as a gift box for some bath items or even chocolates!  As a big bonus purchase the Majestic Morning I Want It All Collection (IWIA 142) from January 8th – 15th 2014 and you will be entered to win all the Heartfelt Creations products release in 2014.   How great a deal is that!

Instructions:

Cut 2 pieces of card stock 8 1/2” x 3” and score on the long side at 2”, 4”, 6” and 8” marks then flip on the short edge and score at 1/2” mark.  These will be used for the base.  Next, cut 2 pieces of card stock 9” x 2 1/2” and score on the long side at 2 1/8”, 4 1/4”, 6 3/8” and 8 1/2” mark.  Then flip on the short edge and score at 1/2” mark.  These will be for the top.  Cut two – 5” Octagon’s to use as the top and bottom of the box and also cut the score marks on the long 1/2” flaps and glue then to the Octagons.  Finally, wrap the box with DP and decorate as desired.  Don’t forget to add a flower!  Everything looks better with a flower on it.  LOL

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
