Baby Tote

Hi everyone and welcome to some Wednesday inspiration for Heartfelt Creations!

Today I want to share with you a fun project that I made using the new Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lullaby Collection!  This lovely new collection is all about babies and little tots and I thought, what a better way to show it off then with a baby tote bag!

and, of course, a closer look at the flowers

Products Used:

HCPC 3602 – Sweet Little One PreCut Set
HCD 745 – Luggage and Tags Die
HCD 746 – Sweet Lullaby Die
HCDP1 243 – Sweet Lullaby Paper Collection
Bright Ideas Prills
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear

Project Instructions:

Other products: Yellow Card Stock, Lace, Ribbon and Pearls from my stash, Buttons, Distressed Ink, Copic Markers and die cutting machine.

Start by making a 8″ x 8″ box 6″ deep out of Yellow card stock and cover with your favorite DP.  Next, make 2 – 6″ x 6″ x 2″ deep boxes for the sides and a 6″ x 5″ x 2″ deep box for the front and wrap in DP before attaching to the main box.  For the handles, Cut 2 – 1.5″ x 12″ strips of paper and attach them using brads.  Finish decorating your diaper bag and do not forget to add some flowers!  I used the new flowers that come as part of the Sweet Lullaby Die.

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
