Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Hi everyone !  Thanks for popping in today for a weekly dose of Heartfelt Creations inspiration!

I have a quick and easy Christmas card that you can make up in a jiffy.  The sentiment is a tag that you will find in the Festive Christmas Paper Collection.

The inside is where you can appreciate the gorgeous paper in this collection (I just did not have the heart to put anything else inside as it is just to nice to cover up 🙂

and of course a few poinsettias!

Products Used:

HCPC 3415 – Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set
HCD 745 – Luggage and Tags Die
HCDP1 246 – Festive Christmas Collection
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Layered Poinsettia Shapeabilities

Project Instructions:

Other products: White Card Stock, A2 Tranquil Moments, Belly Band One, Gold Embossing Powder, Distressed Inks, Glitter Ritz Sparkling Ice, VersaMark, Ribbon and Bling from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start this quick and easy card by die cutting out of White Card stock the A2 Tranquil Moments die and then measure and cut a piece of the Festive Christmas Collection 1/4″ bigger the the die cut for a second layer.  Finally make the base of your card another 1/4″ bigger.  The end result is a card slightly larger then a typical A2 card.  If you prefer a smaller size of the layers simply adjust the size of the bottom 2 layers accordingly.  Use a pre-made stamp from the Festive Christmas Collection die cut out with the Luggage and Tags Die in the center and then start with your flowers!  Stamp, distress and die cut out some of the lovely Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set, assemble and finish it off in the center with a sparkly gem!

Thanks again for popping by and until next time, Happy Crafting my friends!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
