Hi everyone! Thanks for popping by today 🙂 Welcome to some Wednesday inspiration for Heartfelt Creations!
I am too excited!! This week I want to share with you a project that I have been trying to create for several years now. I have made several attempts over the past few years but could not execute it and give it the justice it deserves. Today’s project is a Cornucopia. I actually found a cut file that I thought was brilliant and you can find it here. When I saw this cut file I knew I had the perfect Heartfelt Creations Paper Collection to accompany it. I must admit, I just fell in love with it and had to do it to share with you. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it but would love to know what you think?
and here is a closer look at the beautiful classic sunflowers.
Products Used:
HCPC 3626 – Classic Sunflower PreCut Set
HCD 745 – Luggage and Tags Die
HCD 751 – Cut Mat Create 2A Die
HCD 753 – Classic Sunflower Die
HCDP1 247 – Classic Sunflower Collection
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Project Instructions:
Other products: Green Card Stock, Brown Card Stock, Glass Pearl Beads, Raffia, Distressed Inks, Modge Podge Sparkle and die cutting machine.
Instructions:
Start by making the Cornucopia according to the directions here. Cut a few of the big flourishes from the Cut Mat Create 2A Die and place on the Cornucopia where desired and finish with a butterfly fussy cut from the paper collection and a tag cut using the Luggage and Tags Die. Now for the fun! Take out the wonderful Classic Sunflower PreCut stamp set and stamp some flowers. I like to heat emboss my flowers but that is up to you. After they are stamped, die cut and distress the flowers. Once the flowers are shaped, layer the flowers using as many layers as you like. Remember there is no wrong way to make a flower! This time I finished the center off with some fun Glass Pearl Beads but you can use anything that you desire. Finally place the Cornucopia in a focal point and watch everyone enjoy it!
Have I mentioned lately how thankful I am to all of my lovely followers who support me each and every week? I can’t tell you how much I truly appreciate your kindness and blog friendship.
Have a wonderful day!
Brilliant! as always Joann. Judy x

This might be my favorite ever! The patterns you used, the wonderful shape of the cornucopia and the amazing petals on that sunflower….wow! And then you perched that butterfly on top, filling my heart with delight. This is a true beauty, my friend!
