Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Reasonable Ribbon Copper Forest, Say it in Pearls, 3D Foam Dots, Distressed Inks and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

This card is essentially a base with 2 flaps attached to it.  Start by cutting a 2 pieces of card stock 6″ x 7″ and a third piece 6″ x 5″ in size.  Score on the the 6″ x 7″ pieces so you have a 6″ x 6″ square with a 1″ flap and score the 6″ x 5″ so you have a 5″ x 5″ piece also with a 1″ flap.  Attach flap the larger piece to the right of the base and the flap of the smaller piece to the left of the base.  You can make the pieces smaller or larger as desired.  Once your card base is assembled, distress all the edges and cover with paper from the All Geared Up Paper Collection.  Stamp and distress the All Geared Up Cogs and Gears PreCut Set.  I actually traced around the shape of the stamp set to achieve that funky shape for the right panel of the card.  For the flower, I used the gear dies that came with the All Geared Up Die set.  Once you have cut them out, pinch the ends together slightly and curve up to form the petals.  Layer a few together and you have the perfect Àll Geared Up`flower.

Until next time, have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
