Products Used:

HCPC 3591 – Alarm and Watch Cling Stamp Set
HCPC-3663 – My World Cling Stamp Set
HCD1-745 – Luggage and Tags Die
HCD1-754 – All Geared Up Die
HCD1-761 Everyday Hero Die
HCDP1  253 – Everyday Heroes Paper Collection
Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener, Versamark Stamp Pad, Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass Distressed Ink, Copper Penny Embossing Powder, Super Fine Black Embossing Powder, Derwent Watercolor Pencils (Turquoise Blue, Raw Umber and Cedar Green), Bling, Ribbon and Cord from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by creating a match book drawer but make the drawer 4″ x 6″ in size.  Next make the easel card for the top.  I did something a little different by making the front of the easel card a pocket!  Once you have all of your pieces cut and assembled, distress all the edges and then layer with paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection.  Finish with an image from the Alarm and Watch Cling Stamp Set and fill the little drawer with some tasty treats!  The image from the Alarm and Watch Cling Stamp Set was colored using Derwent Watercolor Pencils and distressed with Antique Linen Distressed Ink.  The “My World” Cling Stamp Set was stamped on the tag using Versamark and heat embossed with Copper Penny Embossing Powder.  It was then distressed with Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass Distressed Inks.  Finally, the globe was stamped 6 times with Versamark and heat embossed with Super Fine Black Embossing Powder.

Thanks again for your visit today.  I hope you will visit the Heartfelt Creations blog today where you will find lots of wonderful inspiration from all of the very talented DT.

Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

  2. So appropriate for a card to leave out all year round on my husband’s dresser. I could use the box to fill with treats now and again. Great inspiration!

  10. Love it. I made one similar to this for my granddaughter. She loves it and puts little notes and secrets in her drawer. I didn’t make a tag though. That would be cool for my next one. Thanks for the inspiration.
