Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Bow Elegance & Devine Floral, Barn Door Distressed Ink, Wink of Stella, Bling and Pearls from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Take a 12″ x 6 7/8″ piece of card stock and score at the 4″ and 8″ marks.  Next, to make the pop-outs I started my measuring the size of the pre-made postage size images I wanted to include in the centers.  I knew I wanted a layer between the stamps and the cardstock so I knew that I needed the layer to be 1 1/2″ square which made my pop-outs 1 5/8″ square.  I decided on having 1/2″ between each pop-out and also on the top and bottom.  Starting at the top of your 8″ scor line, measure down 1/2″.  Draw a line 1 5/8″ on either side of the scor line, measure down 1 5/8″ and draw another line 1 5/8″ on either side of the scor line.  These will be your cut lines for the first pop-out.  Repeat for as many pop-out’s as you desire.  Hint:  Start with a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper and trim off the bottom after you have made all your pop-outs and know where the bottom of the card is.  Once your basic frame is complete, cover with paper from the fantastic Blazing Poppy Paper Collection and decorate as desired.  For this card the poppy flowers were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and distressed with Barn Door Distressed ink.  The leaves were distressed with Memento Bamboo Leaves and finally I brushed the poppy flowers with a Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

Have a wonderful day!
