Other products:  Lantern SVG cutting file, Green Card Stock, Acetate, Versamark, Staz On Jet Black Ink, Copic Markers R-27 and YG-17, Black embossing Powder, Ruffle trim and embellishments from my stash and die cutting machine.

Begin by cutting out the body of the lantern in light green card stock using your electronic die cutting machine. Cut the Acetate panels and then stamp the Poppy Border image (from the Poppy Corner and Border Cling Stamp set) onto the acetate panels using Staz On Jet Black Ink and color as desired with Copic markers.  Attach the acetate panels with your Dries Clear Glue to the inside of the body panels and assemble the body of the lantern.  Complete with decorative panels cut from the Blazing Poppy Paper Collection.  For the decorative top and bottom panels, the Blazing Poppy Fillers stamp was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Black embossing powder.  Finally decorate as desired and enjoy 🙂

Have a wonderful day!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
