Farmers Market Fruit and Vegetable Stand

Farmers Market Fruit and Vegetable Stand

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for popping by today.  I am so excited to showcase the beautiful new Farmer’s Market Collection.  When I first saw this collection it reminded me of the Fall harvest and all the Fruit and Vegetable stands that pop up in my part of the world.  I decided to use that mental image as my inspiration and tried my best to replicate it for you today!

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Umbrella SVG file, Distressed Crackle Paint Picket Fence, Distressed Inks (Brushed Corduroy and Peeled Paint), Derment Watercolor Pencils, clear glitter and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by creating a closed box 7″ wide x 3″ deep x 4″ tall.  I wanted the front to look like raised panels so I cut a piece of card stock the size of the face and cut a few openings the size I wanted.  Once I was satisfied with the look I attached it to the front of the box.  The box was then distressed with Brushed Corduroy for that vintage look.  The cute little umbrella was cut from White card stock and layered with pieces of paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection.  Finish by distressing the leaves with Peeled Paint and create the flower using the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp set and coordinating die.  Distress with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Lilac and brush with Wink of Stella Clear for some added sparkle.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
