Farmers Market Berry Basket

Farmers Market Berry Basket

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone has been enjoying some of this lovely summer weather 🙂    When I first saw this collection, it reminded me of a lovely drive in the country and stopping at a Farmers Market for some freshly picked sweet berries so I decided why not create a basket for the berries?  I decided to use that as my inspiration for this project.

Project Instructions:

Other products:  Basket SVG cutting file, Off White Card Stock, Derwent Watercolor Pencils (#19 & #51), Forrest Moss Distressed Ink, Fossilized Amber Distressed Ink and die cutting machine. and beads from my stash.

Instructions:

Start by cutting out the basket Off-White card stock using your electronic die cutting machine and assemble the basket. Distress the edges using fossilized Amber Distress Ink. Attach one of the decorative edges from the Farmers Market Paper collection to the top edge of the basket and then proceed to decorating the remainder of the basket.  The image from the Berries and Peaches Cling Stamp Set is colored using Watercolor Pencils and then fussy cut out.  Layer this on the basket with leaves from the Jars & Vines Cling Stamp Set that are stamped with Expresso Truffle and distressed with Forest Moss distressed ink.  Finally add a Sunflower that is stamped with Expresso Truffle and distressed with Fossilized Amber Distressed Ink and top with a sentiment!

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!
