Watch this video: to learn how to shape the Botanical Rose.

Start by creating your 6″ x 6″ easel card out of cream card stock and cutting two 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ panels for the front and inside.  The corners on the front of the card were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Egyptian Gold Embossing Powder before die cutting them out.  For the dress, I stamped on Gold Vellum with Versamark and heat embossed with  Aged Ivory Embossing Powder.  This was done twice, ruffling the top layer to give the dress some dimension.  The flowers were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Egyptian Gold Embossing Powder before distressing them with Worn Lipstick Distressed Ink.  Finally, the sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Egyptian Gold Embossing Powder.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
