My Favorite Heartfelt Creations Projects

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for popping by today.

With the voting now taking place for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team I thought that I would share with you some of my favorite projects that I have created.

If you have not had the chance, please vote.  You can click here: and submit your vote. When you vote, you will also be entered into a drawing to be eligible to win a $50 Gift Certificate. You can only vote one time and you have to select 5 or more to be eligible to participate. Voting ends on February 19th, 2016.

Today I want to share with you my Diamond Fold card, this is one of my favorite fancy folds!

With this card the inside is the real star!

and don’t forget those gorgeous Botanical Rose flowers, I just can’t seem to get enough play time in with them 🙂

Products Used:

HCPC 3651 – Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set
HCPC 3653 – Botanical Rose Bouquet Cling Stamp Set

HCD 747 – Arianna Lace Die
HCD1 758 – Botanical Wings Die
HCDP1  251 – Butterfly Medley Paper Collection
Paper Shaping Tools & Piercing Mat
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One
Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grey Flannel
Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Pink Card Stock, Distressed Inks (Worn Lipstick, Forest Moss), Embossing Powder (Party Pink), Tim Holtz Distressed Markers (Forest Moss and Peeled Paint & Worn Lipstick), Wink of Stella Pen, bling from my stash and die cutting machine.

Start by cutting this template 2 times, one from White Cardstock and one from a piece of paper from the Butterfly Medley Paper Collection.  For the designer paper layer, you will need to trim the pieces a little smaller so the card folds.  Once your layers of paper are assembled, stamp the Botanical Rose Bouquet Cling stamp (both stamps that come in the package).  Fussy cut both the larger image and adhere to the front diamond fold.  The second smaller image will be used for inside left panel of the card. Die-cut and distress your flowers.  The flowers were stamped with Memento Grey Flannel and distressed with Worn Lipstick and a thin coat of shimmer using Wink of Stella.  The leaves were stamped with Memento Olive Grove and distressed with Forest Moss.  Finally finish decorating as desired and try to give this beautiful card away!

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

  1. Hello Joann, I love your cards and your other altered art projects, beautiful! I make a point to vote so that I can support you and a couple of other designers I especially like. I do think it’s neat that you are not only a fellow Canadian, but that you are from near my hometown, that you are in Halifax, NS. Very neat! I love Heartfelt Creations, one of my favorite companies, they produce such brilliant stamps, dies, paper collections. I hope you do extremely well in the voting again this year, Joann. Best wishes to you, Joanne L.
