Everyday Moments Gate-fold Card

Everyday Moments Gate-fold Card

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for popping by today.  Today’s fancy fold card is really all about the Paper 🙂  I wanted to show how with just a few simple die cuts you can create a very quick and beautiful card to give to that special someone in your life.  Heartfelt Creations have included in their paper collections pre-made images that you can simply cut out with your coordinating dies for your cards, no coloring necessary…how great is that!

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Velum, Versamark, Aged Silver Embossing Powder, Worn Lipstick Distressed Ink, Diamond Stickles, Pearls from my stash and die cutting machine.

Start by creating your basic 5″ x 7″ gate-fold card out ow White Card stock.  I wanted something a little different for the look on the front so I decided to make some flaps on the front.  To make the flaps I measured in from each side 1″ and up from the bottom 3 1/2″ and scored between the 2 marks.  My flower was created using Velum, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Aged Silver Embossing Powder and then lightly colored with Worn Lipstick Distressed Ink.  The bouquet of Lilies image was cut from the Sunrise Paper Collection with the coordinating die and then attached on one side of the center opening.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
