Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Worn Lipstick Distressed Ink and die cutting machine, dew drops

Instructions:

Take a piece of white cardstock 6″ x 10″ and on the long side scor at the 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″ 6″and 7″ marks.  Next make a cut 2″ in from the left side and 3 1/2″ down from the top between the 2″ and 6″ scor lines.  Finally cut another line 2″ in from the left side and 1 1/2″ down from the top between the 2″ and 7″ scor lines.  Now that you have your card base, repeat this again with desired paper from the Winking Frog Paper Collection.  For a little extra dimension, after my designer paper was cut I trimmed the pieces  1/4″ smaller.  Click here to see what the card stock will look like when you are finished.  The 2 frogs and the Dragonfly were die cut using the coordinating dies from the pre-colored images that are included in the paper collection, which is such a great way to add a lot of pop to your card without having to do a lot of coloring!  The Water Lily flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle distressed with Worn Lipstick and Pistachio inks before cutting them with the matching die.  Shape the water lily flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, make some single and some double blooms and one 4 layer bloom and add Prills to centers to finish them off.  Finally, add a ribbon sentiment from the Winking Frog Paper Collection along the bottom of the card combined with one of the pre-colored tags which was die cut using the Luggage and Tags Die. A die cut of the Fleur Borders and Pockets Die using another coordinating piece of paper from the Winking Frog Paper Collection was attached to the right hand corner of the card.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
