Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Green Card Stock, Cut file for sentiment, Versafine Onyx Black, Pebbles Chalks, Crystal Stickles, Ribbon from my stash and die cutting machine.

This sign is rather large, measuring approx 10 1/2″ x 11 1/2″.  I wanted to create a different shape so I fired up my computer and this is what I came up with.  Click here for the template.  Start by cutting the white card stock from the template several times and before you glue them together sandwich the ribbon in between so that your sign has something to hang by.  Next add a layer of green card stock cut a 1/2″ smaller finally topping off with a layer of designer paper from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection cut again 1/2″ smaller.  The sentiment was cut from the same Green card stock using a cut file that I found online.  The dimensions for the original file were not exactly the size I wanted so I re-sized the sentiment to be the size I desired.  After attaching the sentiment to the center of your sign it’s time to start making those lovely Botanic Orchid flowers!

The Botanic Orchid flowers were stamped on White cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black and cut with the matching die and distressed with Lilac Posies and Sweet Plum inks before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Before the flowers were attached to the sign a few corner decorative die cuts from the Cut Mat Create 2A Die and also a pre-made image from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection die cut using the Botanic Orchid Bouquet Die were added for dimension.

To top the sign off the Regal Hummingbird Cling Stamp Set was stamped on White cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black and cut with the matching die.  After they were die cut they were colored with Pebbles Chalks and accented with Crystal Stickles before attaching them to the sign as shown.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!
