Instructions:

Start by making a match box that measures 5″ x 5″ x 1″ in size.  There are tons of tutorials available online if you are not sure how to make one.  To make the scalloped top and bottom, I took a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Squares that was larger than my matchbox and die cut it twice using the same paper I used for the box.  To dress up the top a little more, I took one of the pre-made 6″ x 6″ images that came as part of the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection and die cut it using the next smaller Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Squares die.  To create the fancy scroll work around the top of the box it is actually the Botanic Window Die, cut 4 times.  After they were all die cut, trim off the tops of the die just above the swirls on the sides of the die and glue pieces to top of box!

Some of the Botanic Orchid flowers were stamped on White cardstock with Lilac Posies and cut with the matching die and distressed with Pickled Raspberry ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   Additional Botanic Orchid flowers were stamped on vellum using Frost White ink and heat embossed with Bridal Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die before distressing with Pickled Raspberry ink and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  The flower stamens were finished off with Pollen Micro Beads for a little extra texture.  Finally the leaves were stamped from the Sunrise Lily Cling Stamp Set on White cardstock with Tuxedo Black and cut with the matching die and then distressed with Peeled Paint distressed ink.  The finishing touches are the large regal hummingbird die cut from the pre-made images that come with the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection The sentiment attached on box top corner is also a part of the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

When I try to go to the post and find out how you did the box – the message 494 comes up and says this does not exist.DH, MN
