You Melt My Heart Snowflake Gift Box

You Melt My Heart Snowflake Gift Box

Hi everyone!

Happy Wednesday 🙂  I’m excited to show you a lovely box that you can create using the Snow Kissed Collection from Heartfelt Creations, which you can easily use as a gift box for any special occasion.  I decided to make this a Christmas theme but there really is no reason you couldn’t just change up the poinsettias and snowflakes to suit any occasion!

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Blue Card Stock, Glitter Paper, Acetate, Versamark, Vintage Blue Opaque Sparkle Embossing Powder, Sterling Embossing Powder, Stormy Sky Distressed Ink, Bling from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

I started my making a basic 6″ x 6″ box with a top.  I wanted the top to be a little different so I added a scalloped edge to the box top and also added a large acetate window so everyone can see what is inside.  The box inserts were made from White card stock and then the top was covered with a slightly smaller piece of card stock from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection.  To finish dressing up the bottom of the box a ribbon sentiment from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection was wrapped around the base which was the perfect compliment to the box.  The snowflakes from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Cling Stamp Set was stamped on white and blue cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Vintage Blue Opaque Sparkle Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die before attaching them as shown.   The poinsettia flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Stirling Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die.  They were distressed with Stormy Sky ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and finishing with bling for the centers and attached as shown. Final step is to fill and enjoy!

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!
