Instructions:

This card measures 5″ x 7″ and to make this card start by cutting a piece of white card stock 7″ x 12″ and scor at the 5″ and 10 1/8″ marks.  Next cut two purple panels measuring 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and a third panel 1 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and attach these to the inside of the card.  Layer on panels from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection measuring 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and also attach as shown.  Complete the front of the 5″ x 7″ card by layering 2 more panels from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection measuring 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and 1 3/4″ x 6 3/4″.  To make the smaller card on the front, take another piece of purple card stock 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and scor in the middle before layering with 2 more panels from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection measuring 4″ x 4″ ensuring that the scor is on the Right this time.  Finally die cut the middle die from the Spellbinders Fairmont Decorative Accent 2 times, one for the front and 1 for the inside and attach all the panels together before attaching as shown.  To finish up the edge add a Regal Borders and Pockets Die die cut from white cardstock and tuck in under the edge of the smaller card as shown.  To decorate the card, starting from the front, the Blushing Rose Stem Die was stamped on white cardstock with Northern Pine ink and cut with the matching die.  They were distressed with Tumbled Glass and Forest Moss before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  To finish them off they were brushed in spots with a glitter pen and Splash Micro Beads were added.  The Blushing Rose Stems were stamped on white cardstock with Black Onyx ink and cut with the matching die.  They were distressed with Forest Moss Distressed Ink and accented with Diamond Stickles before attaching as shown.  Finally the Encourage You Cling Stamp Set was stamped on white card stock and die cut with the Cut Mat Create 1B Die before distressing with Forest Moss and attaching, finishing with a ribbon bow and some bling!  The inside of this smaller card was covered with the Blushing Rose Swirls Cling Stamp Set stamped on white card stock and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Forest Moss and Squeezed Lemonade and accenting with Pollen Micro Beads.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
