Classic Wedding Florida Wedding Carriage

Classic Wedding Florida Wedding Carriage

Hi friends!

The last time I was in Florida a saw this amazing wedding taking place and I was struck by the elegance of the horse and carriage that the bride and groom were in.  When I saw this cut file I just knew that I had to do one for this amazing collection!

HCDP1-279 – Classic Wedding Paper Collection

Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One

Memento Dye Ink Pad – Northern Pine

Project Instructions:

Other products: Cut File, White Card Stock, Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder, Tattered Rose Distress Embossing Powder, Tattered Rose Distress Ink, Peeled Paint Distress Ink, Stickles, Ribbon from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by cutting the pieces out of white card stock and assembling according to the directions.  For added strength I cut the sides 4 times per side and glued them together.  Once your glue has cured, layer in a piece of paper from the Classic Wedding Paper Collection to finish off the inside and finish the back of the carriage with a die cut from the Decorative Medallion Die.  I slightly curved this for some added dimension.  The Classic Rose flowers were stamped on white card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with Tattered Rose distress embossing powder before die cutting with the matching die and distressing with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and finally shaping with the Flower Shaping tool.  The leaves were stamped on white card stock with Northern Pine and die cut with the matching die and distressing with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and finally shaping with the Flower Shaping tool.  The ribbon strip of bells were stamped on white card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder before die cutting with the matching die and coloring with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and accented with crystal stickles.

Thanks so much for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
