Relax and Unwind Camping Thermos

Relax and Unwind Camping Thermos

Hi everyone!  Welcome back for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday inspiration.  Today we are debuting a fun new collection called Beary Fun Retreat!

Nothing reminds me more about the evenings in the fall then sitting around a campfire at night, toasting marshmallows and drinking Hot Chocolate so with that in mind I used this cut file and created my take on a camping thermos.

Instructions:

Start by cutting and assembling the Thermos found here according to the directions out of kraft card stock for the top, white card stock for the base with the panels cut from the Beary Fun Retreat Paper Collection.  The images of the bears and campfire for this project were stamped on white card stock using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink before die cutting with the matching dies.  They were colored with a combination of Pebbles Classic Chalks and Derwent Water Color Pencils before being accented with a Quickie Glue Pen and a combination of Brushed Corduroy and Mustard Seed Distressed Glitters.  The Sunflowers were stamped on white card stock using Rich Cocoa ink before die cutting with the matching die and coloring with Dandelion ink and shaping with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and accented with Brushed Corduroy Distressed Glitter.  The leaves were stamped on white card stock using Northern Pine ink before die cutting with the matching die and distressed with Bamboo Leaves ink.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

  4. This is interesting. Is it a card? or just a cute sit-around?If the top opened it could hold a lot of different things.
