3D Fairy House

3D Fairy House

Hi everyone!  Welcome back for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday inspiration.  When I was looking at the Singing in the Rain collection I was reminded of fairies, magical tales and houses.  With that in mind I took the Honey Bee Fairy House from the Dreaming Tree and used it for my inspiration this week.

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Cut File, Versafine Deep Lagoon Ink, Metallic Chalks, Derwent Water Color Pencils (#63, #15, #7, #51 and #31), Versamark, Red Cinnabar Embossing Powder, Gala Glitz Orange and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by taking the cut file found here and cutting the base out of White card stock and the panels from the Singing in the Rain Paper Collection and assembling according to the directions.  The songs of spring image was stamped on white card stock using deep lagoon ink and die cut with the matching dies before coloring with a combination of metallic chalks and derwent water color pencils.  The flowers were stamped on white card stock using versamark and heat embossed with red cinnabar embossing powder before die cutting with the matching die and shaping using the flower shaping mold and tweaking with the flower shaping tools before coloring with metallic chalks and accenting the centers with gala glitz orange.  I also used craft wire bending it slightly to attach the little Fairy image.

Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
