Hi everyone! Welcome back for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday inspiration. Today we are debuting a brand new release called Lush Lilac. You are going to fall in love with this beautiful new addition! Many of you know that I have a sweet spot for lanterns and luminaries and when I saw this one I knew I had to play with it. I made the roof panels solid and changed a few elements of it and I love how it came together.

Other products: White card stock, Cut File, Archival Watering Can Ink, Brilliance Ink Victorian Violet, Diamond Stickles, Lavender Micro Glitter, Ribbon and cord from my stash and die cutting machine.
Instructions:
Start by cutting the lantern out of white card stock using panels from the Lush Lilac Paper collection according to the directions found here. The lilac flowers were stamped on white card stock using Watering Can Ink and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Victorian Violet ink and shaping with the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold and accenting the centers with Diamond Stickles. The butterflies were stamped on white card stock using Tuxedo Black ink and die cut with the matching die before coloring with a combination of Elderberry and Sweet Plum inks and accenting with Lavender Micro Glitter.

I love this and want to try making it because I have the same svg, but how did you make the opening smaller all the way around?

Hello Kimberly, I resized the pieces to get the opening the size that I wanted. You can always un-group the pieces and adjust the sizes of individual elements. Just make sure if you are doing this do all the pieces to the same scale or they won’t fit properly.
