Opaline Fragrance Box

Opaline Fragrance Box

Hi everyone!  Welcome back for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday inspiration.

When I first saw the Opaline Fragrance Box from The Dreaming Tree I just knew I had to create one but I was waiting for the right time and that time is now!

Products Used:

HCPC-3816 – Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Set
HCD1-7170 – Lush Lilac Die
HCDP1-287 – Lush Lilac Paper Collection
Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One
Scor-Pal Measuring & Scoring Board
HCFB1-464 – 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold
71058 – ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink Pad – Guacamole

Project Instructions:

Other products:  Purple Card Stock, White Card Stock, Black Card Stock, Cut File, Tim Holtz Curio Knob, ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink Pad Lavender, Dove Blender Pen, Sunflower Stickles and die cutting machine.

Start by making the box out of Black and Purple card stock according to the directions found here using panels from the Lush Lilac Paper Collection.  The lilac flowers were stamped on white card stock using Archival Watering Can Ink and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Pearlescent Purple ink and shaping with the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold and then accenting the flower centers with Sunflower Stickles.  The images were stamped on white card stock using Versafine Olympia Green ink and die cut using the matching dies before coloring with a Dove blender pen and Guacamole ink.

Thanks for popping by.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
