Start by cutting and assembling the Sewing Box found here according to the directions out of brown and pink card stock with the panels cut from the Sweet Peony Paper Collection.    The Peony flowers were stamped on white card stock using Versamark and heat embossed with Rose Quartz Embossing Powder before die cutting with the matching die and distressing with Pearlescent Red Gold ink.  After the flowers were distressed they were shaped with the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold and the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit before spritzing with Sparkle Glimmer Spray and dusting with Crystal Clear.  Finally the centers were accented with Pastel Bead Stamens-Medium.  The leaves were stamped on white card stock using Guacamole ink and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Pearlescent Thyme ink.  The “Just For You” sentiment was stamped on white card stock using Sepia ink and die cut with the matching die before coloring with Derwent water color pencils and finally lightly distressing with walnut stain distressed ink.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Have a wonderful day!

  3. Hi Joann,
WOW your mother in law is a lucky lady to be loved as much as you obviously do, as this project is totally for someone very special indeed, with the amount of love and attention to detail you have put into creating this for her. It is absolutely gorgeous and i hope that she has many very happy hours filling and using her special gift, i know i would. She has never ending flowers that won’t die and have the leaves and petals drop off on it, but it also has love put into every little detail. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of seeing your creation of love as well
