Lest We Forget Monument

Lest We Forget Monument

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for popping by for a visit today 🙂 Working with the new Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppy Collection has been so inspiring and has led me to thinking about Poppies and some of the history and reasons why we all so fortunate to enjoy the life we live today.  It is largely because of all the dedicated service men and women (veterans) in the past that have given their lives to protect our great nations.  With that being said, I wanted to build a fitting monument to honor them today!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous – Challenge #20 Box it Up!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous – Challenge #20 Box it Up!

Hi there fellow Craft Hoarders!  I am once again super excited to be back  for my second guest design spot for  Gloria Stengel’s Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge.  Today is all about keeping true to the theme of this lovely blog!  Everything that I used for my project was from my hoarded stash of supplies 🙂  There are certain things that I hate to part with like some of my paper, ornate vintage embellishments but when I manage to create something like this Vintage Keepsake Box it actually makes it sooo much easier! I think this lovely little box is just perfect to give to my wonderful Grandmother for Christmas this year.

Craft Hoarders Anonymous – Challenge #19 For all that You do, Thank You!

Hi there fellow Craft Hoarders!  It’s Joann and I am so excited to be here today as a guest designer for  Gloria Stengel’s Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge this month.  A few of my many weakness when it comes to my supplies are my paper and bling.  I am constantly purchasing it and have a hard time using it so today I want to share with you a wine tag that I made using some of my hoarded supplies!

Products Used:

HCPC 3494 – Delicate Asters PreCut Set
HCPC 3500 – Open Vintage Floret PreCut Set
HCPC 3502 – Mini Vintage Floret PreCut Set
HCD 726 – Delicate Asters Die
HCD 727 – Vintage Floret Die
HCD 728 – Timeless Amour Die
HCDP1 228 – Timeless Amour Paper Collection

Project Instructions:

Other products: Lace from my stash and Bling from my dear friend Judy, Distressed Ink, adhesive and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by making a 6″ x 6″ card out of a piece of DP from the Timeless Amour Paper Collection and then cut another 6″ x 6″ piece of coordinating DP for the inside.  Scor the 6″ x 6″ piece down the middle and then from corner to corner for a total of 3 scor lines.  Attach the 2 pieces of DP together and then decorate as desired.  For the flowers on the inside I kept them flat so the card can close and for the flowers on the front I stamped, distressed and die cut using the lovely Vintage Floret die and stamps.

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!
