High Topped Sneaker

High Topped Sneaker

Hi everyone!  I’ve had a great time with our sponsor this month “Fancy Pants Designs” and I have one last project this month to share with you.

Last week our challenge was to create a back to school project using Fancy Pants products and I had so much fun making the school backpack that I thought that you also need a new pair of sneakers to go to school!

I made my version of  the High Topped Sneakers from the Back to the Books SVG Kit from SVGCuts.com.  You can find the detailed assembly tutorial there.

Chimney Box

Chimney Box

Hi everyone and welcome to some Wednesday inspiration for Heartfelt Creations!

I admit it,… I have been on a box kick lately and today I wanted to share with you a box that I made that looks like a chimney!  I was thinking about how Santa would get into my house to get his cookies since I do not have a chimney so I thought “make a box to hold the cookies that looks like a chimney”.

Wonderful Christmas Tag

Wonderful Christmas Tag

Hi again my lovely friends.  I have another project to share featuring Heartfelt Creations “Festive Christmas Collection”!

Joann-Larkin-Wonderful-Christmas-Tag

a little closer look at some of the details!

Joann-Larkin-Wonderful-Christmas-Tag-Closeup

Products Used:

HCPC 3415 – Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set
HCPC 3623 – Festive Candlelight PreCut Set
HCD 747 – Arianna Lace Die
HCDP1 246 – Festive Christmas Collection
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Layered Poinsettia Shapeabilities
Classic Scallop Circle Small

Project Instructions:

Other products: Kraft Card Stock, Classic Scalloped Rectangles, Gold Embossing Powder, Distressed Inks, VersaMark, Ribbon, Crystals and Bling from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by cutting a tag for your project.  I made mine 4 1/2″ x 7″  since I wanted a bit of extra room to showcase some of the beautiful paper and stamps in the Festive Christmas Collection.  Next, add some ribbon and lace to the bottom of the tag.  I then picked one of the many pre-made images from the collection and cut it out using a Classic Scallop Circle Small die and fastened it to the tag but not before I attached an Arianna Lace Die cut into halves underneath the image.  Finally, I fussy cut out another one of the pre-made images for the top of the tag and stamped a sentiment from the Festive Candlelight PreCut Set.  To make this the perfect Christmas tag, stamp, distress and die cut out some of the lovely Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set stamps, assemble and finish it off in the center with a sparkly gem and finish with a lace bow!

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!

Old Fashioned Lantern

Old Fashioned Lantern

Hi everyone, it’s Wednesday and you know what that means… I get to show you some lovely things you can create with your Heartfelt Creations products.

I have a thing for Lanterns and as soon as I saw the lanterns in the new “Festive Christmas Collection” I had to make one using this gorgeous collection.

Joann-Larkin-Old-Fashoned-Lantern-Flowers1

Joann-Larkin-Old-Fashoned-Lantern-Flowers2

Products Used:

HCPC 3557 – Christmas Poinsettia PreCut Set
HCPC 3624 – Festive Christmas Background PreCut Set
HCD 734 – Sun Kissed Fleur Die
HCDP1 246 – Festive Christmas Collection
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue

Project Instructions:

Other products: White Card Stock, Velum, Distressed Inks, Metallic Gold Ink, Antique Gold Embossing Powder, Pearls, Lace and Ribbon from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by cutting the 4 sides of the lantern out of White card stock.  There are a lot of free templates out there.  Here is one similar to what I made here.  After the sides are cut out, attach together and top with another piece of paper from the Festive Christmas Collection to dress up the top parts of the lantern.  Before you glue the lantern closed, stamp your favorite image on velum and emboss with Antique Gold Embossing Powder.  After all 4 panels are completed, fasten them to the inside of the body of the lantern so the light glows through.  Decorate and of course, don’t forget to add a pretty flower or two!  Stamp with metallic gold ink,  distress and die cut out some of the lovely Christmas Poinsettia PreCut Set, assemble and finish it off in the center with a sparkly gem!

I hope to see  you again soon.  I love to read your comments, thank you so much!
