Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Opulent Ovals, Distressed Markers Fired Brick and Peeled Paint, Goosebumps Texture Spray, Ribbon and lace from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

For this holder, I started with a piece of 12″ x 12″ piece of cardstock.  Fold it in half into a triangle.  Put the folded edge to the left side of your scor tool and score a line at 3/4″.  Since this is large you will need to flip the cardstock to finish your scor line.  Rotate fold to the top of the scor tool and score two lines 5 1/2″ in from each side.  Using a Bone Folder, fold and crease on all score lines well.  Unfold your cardstock and with the 6″ center sections on the top and bottom fold in the two triangles on the left and right.  Fold your cardstock up on the center scored line.  Then flip it over and fold up each side.  The front and the back should look the same.   Notice how the bottom looks like a “W” that’s how you know you did it correctly.  Bring the top two pieces together and fasten together with a brad.  You could also punch a larger hole and thread ribbon through and tie. Decorate the front as desired and insert a tag or some candy. If you want to do this on a smaller scale you can use a piece of cardstock 6″ x 6″ and follow the same instructions except of scoring at the 5 1/2″ mark on both sides scor two lines – one at 2-3/4″ and one at 5-3/4″.  Finish the holder by making a couple of tags for the pockets and decorate them with a few of your favorite images.  The images were colored with Distressed Markers and the flowers stampled with memento tuxedo black and were distressed with Memento Rose Bud then lightly sprayed with Goosebumps Textured Spray.

Have a wonderful day!
