Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Versafine Vintage Sepia, Distressed Inks (Walnut Stain and Squeezed Lemonade), Dove Blender Pen, Brilliance Ink Moonlight White, Fine White Embossing Powder, Diamond Stickles, Pebbles Chalks and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

To make this card start by taking a piece of white cardstock 5 1/2″ x 11″.  You will need to create 2 cut lines so starting from the top measure down 3/4″ and draw a 5″ long line from 4 3/4″ to 9 3/4″.  Now repeat this but measure up 3/4″ from the bottom.  This is the line that you will need to cut to allow the card to fold.  Now scor at the 3 1/2″ and 7 1/4″ marks the full length of the card.  The final scor lines are between the cut lines only at the 4 3/4″, 6″, 8 1/2″ and 9 3/4″ marks.  When completed your card base should look like this.  Once your card base is complete cover the card in slightly smaller pieces of designer paper from the Tropical Paradise Paper Collection.  The Palm tree and monkey images were stamped on white card stock with Vintage Sepia and die cut with the matching dies before coloring with a Dove Blender Pen and a combination of Bamboo Leaves, Pearlescent Ivy, Desert Ivy and Walnut Stain inks.  The flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Moonlight White and heat embossed with Fine White Embossing Powder and die cut with the matching die.  They were colored with  Squeezed Lemonade ink before shaping with the Flower Shaping tool and accented in the centers with Prills.  The Flamingos were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle and die cut with the matching die before being colored with pink ink and accented with Diamond Stickles.  The Leaves and Ferns were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle and die cut with the matching die before being colored with Pearlescent Ivy.  The Parrot was stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle and die cut with the matching die before being colored with Pebbles Chalks.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
