Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Versafine Smokey Grey, Modge Podge Sparkle, Peeled Paint Distressed Ink, Bling, String and Decorative Metal Elements from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start creating the layers you want¬†for the card. ¬†There are 3 layers all 6 1/2″ wide x 5″ tall with a 1/4″ scor down both of the 5″ sides. ¬†To get the layered shadow box look, the opening of each layer is a little smaller than the previous layer (1/2″ gives a lovely effect).¬† Layer 1 will have a opening of 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. ¬† Layer 2 will have an opening of 4″ x 3″ and Layer 3 will have an opening of 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. ¬†Place a double layer of foam dots between each of the layers and then create another layer that will wrap around these 3 layers to finish it off. ¬†The top layer will have an opening of 5″ x 4″. ¬†The flowers were stamped using¬†Versafine Smokey Grey and distressed with¬†Memento Lilac Posies before lightly coating them with¬†Modge Podge Sparkle. ¬†The small flower buds were distressed with Memento Angel Pink and the leaves were distressed with Peeled Paint distressed ink. ¬†Finally the sentiment was stamped with Memento Olive Green.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
