3D Ice Cream Truck

3D Ice Cream Truck

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for popping by today.  Something that brings back fond memories for me was back when the local ice cream truck use to stop down the road from where I grew up.  So with that inspiration I decide to create my own version of that fun memory by using the SVGCUTS Ice Cream Birthday SVG Kit.

Project Instructions:

Other products:  Cut File, White, Black, Red and Vanilla Card Stock, Silver Foil Card Stock, Cut File, Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Simplicity embossing folder, Tumbled Glass Distressed Ink, Micro Beads Silver, Diamond Stickles and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Cut and assemble the truck and ice cream cone according to the directions using paper from the Berry Cafe Paper Collection as your decorative paper. The Berry Blossoms flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle, die cut using the matching die and lightly distressed with Tumbled Glass Distressed Ink.  Shape flowers with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, making some single and some double blooms (you can never have enough flowers) before filling the centers with Micro Beads Silver and finishing them off with Diamond Stickles.  The flowers were randomly attached to the truck canopy as shown. The Blooming Berries Cling Stamp was stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle, die cut using the matching die and colored with Candied Apple and peeled paint distress markers. I cut a piece off of the strawberry image to allow for a small size to fit the top of the ice cream cone.  Finally to finish off the project, the large ice cream sundae and the image of the boy and girl enjoying their sundae were all die cut using the matching dies from the pre colored images that are included as part of the designer paper in the Berry Cafe Paper Collection and attached to the truck as shown.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
