My First Gate Fold Card

Hi Ladies,

I recently bought a new die from my local craft shop The Cutting Garden and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it.

I had a hard time doing this card because my Big Shot was not big enough to cut the card stock.  I had to improvise and change the size of the card so I could cut it.

I kept the card fairly simple so it did not take away from the design.  Just a few swirls and a small flower to finish it off.

I will definitely try this many more times and I already have a few other designs in mind that I can use this die set for.

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life.     Gorgeous Joann, this is exquisite. I love the shape of this card, so very different, love the colours, love the stamping and the ties. Very very pretty!!
