Masculine Tissue Box Cover

Masculine Tissue Box Cover

Hi everyone!  I hope your Wednesday is going great so far 🙂

For those of you who know me, I don’t have to tell you that masculine projects are something that I just don’t do well but today I have attempted to create a tissue box cover that has a manly look and feel to it.  So here goes…

and here is a closer look at the All Geared Up flowers.  No laughing, you know I had to find a way to make these gears into manly looking flowers LOL!

Products Used:

HCPC 3634 – Tarnished Gears PreCut Set
HCD 745 – Luggage & Tags Die
HCD 754 – All Geared Up Die
HCDP1 248 – All Geared Up Paper Collection
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One

Project Instructions:

Other products:  Off-White Card Stock, Reasonable Ribbon 1/2″Burlap Woven Ribbon, May Arts Burlap String, Tim Holtz Mini Gears, Pearls and Floral Accents from my stash, Distressed Inks and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

This tissue box cover is simply a 6″ x 5″ x 4″ open bottom box that fits over a standard-sized box of Kleenex brand
tissue.

For my flower, I used the gear dies that came with the All Geared Up Die set.  Once you have cut them out, pinch the ends together slightly and curve up to form the petals.  Layer a few together and you have the perfect “All Geared Up” flower!

Have I mentioned lately how thankful I am to all of my lovely followers who support me each and every week?  I can’t tell you how much I truly appreciate your kindness and blog friendship.

Have a wonderful day!  Happy Crafting everyone 🙂

I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

  1. Joann, this is just fabulous! Only you would think to decorate a tissue box and then add a get well sentiment. It’s brilliant! Your gear flowers are totally gorgeous, too!
