Project Instructions:

Other products:  Red Card Stock, Grand Labels Four, 5 x 7 Mystical Embrace, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist, Distressed Inks, 3D Popup Foam dots and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Die cut Red card stock using the largest Grand Labels Four and a piece of lovely paper from the Arianna Blooms Paper Collection using the next smallest die.  Once both pieces are cut, then cut both in half and  cut an additional 1 3/4″ off of one side for the front.  Take another piece of red card stock 8 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and position it on the Right hand side of the Scor-Pal, Scor on the long side at 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 10 1/2″ and 11 1/2″ marks.  The next step is to flip the card stock to the short side and scor at the 7 3/4″, 8 3/4″, 10 1/2″ and 11 1/2″ marks.  Trim off the extra pieces so you can fold into a open topped box.  Glue the box together and then fasten the front and back pieces together.  Finally attach the front and back pieces to the box.  Stamp, die cut and distress the Arianna Blooms PreCut Set and build your flowers using your flower shaping tools.  As well you need to stamp, die cut and distress the Open Leaf Precut set for the leaves to include behind your flowers.  I also used a die cut from the Ornate Gateway die on the front of my votive holder.  Finish it off by stamping your favorite sentiment and attaching to the front for that special someone.

For those of you that prefer pictures here are a few step by step instructions:

Die cut Red card stock using the largest Grand Labels Four and a piece of paper from the Arianna Blooms Paper Collection using the next smallest die.  Once both pieces are cut then cut both in half and then cut an additional 1 3/4″ off of one side for the front.

I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
