Always There is Hope

Always There is Hope

Hi everyone!  So happy you popped by 🙂  Welcome to Wednesday and as always I have some inspiration for Heartfelt Creations for you today!  I made a simple gift box to share with you today.  The shape of this box brings to mind a french fry container LOL do you agree?

Joann-Larkin-Cylinder-Luminaire

as an added bonus, in addition to being a gift box this could also double as a luminaire which is what I have used it for below!

Joann-Larkin-Cylinder-Luminaire-Litup

Products Used:

HCPC 3651 – Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set
HCPC 3652 – Botanical Wings Cling PreCut Stamp
HCD 745 – Luggage and Tags Die
HCD1 758 – Botanical Wings Die
HCDP1  251 – Butterfly Medley Paper Collection
Paper Shaping Tools & Piercing Mat
Art Institute Glue – Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders Tool N’ One
Memento Dye Ink Pad – Espresso Truffle

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Velum, Flowers stamped with Memento Expresso Truffle and distressed with Tea Die and brushed with Wink of Stella Clear, Butterflies stamped with Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and heat embossed with Copper Penny Embossing Powder, Ivory Flax Ribbon, Pearls and Lace from my stash, Scor Tape, mini beads from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Start by cutting the base of the project out of White card stock using this template as a guide.  I cut another layer of the template out using a piece of designer paper from the Butterfly Medley Paper Collection and layered it on the top.  Next die cut the gorgeous butterfly from the Botanical Wings Die in the largest of the 2 sections and line the back with Velum.   After the box is assembled, stamp, die cut and distress 2 butterflies from the Botanical Wings Cling PreCut Stamp and adhere to the center of the die cuts on the project.  Lastly, nothing is complete without a flower so add a flower made from the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set and matching die!  I just love these gorgeous flowers and I am sure you will too 🙂

Thanks for stopping by for a visit today!  See you next time 🙂

Have a wonderful day!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
