To Cheer You

Hi everyone!  I am delighted that you have popped by today 🙂   Welcome to Wednesday and as always I am here with some inspiration for Heartfelt Creations for you!  Today I am sharing with you a 6 sided divided box.  In the past I have made a few 6 sided boxes but this time I wanted to make it a true inside divided box.  I hope you like and can think of lots of uses for it.

Project Instructions:

Other products:  White Card Stock, Gold Majesty Circles, Derwent Watercolor Pencils (Naple Yellow & Olive Green), Modge Podge Sparkle and die cutting machine.

Instructions:

Using the template which you can download here, cut the template out of White cardstock so that the sides of the measure 2 1/2″ wide.  I cut off the rounded tabs so that the box was open.  Repeat the above making the template a small bit larger cutting the sides down to 1″ to make the top of the box.  Cover the top and panels with paper from the Peacock Paisley Paper Collection and then start decorating.  Cut the image from the Peacock Swirls Cling Stamp Set out with the Gold Majesty Circles die and center it on the top of the box.  The images on the sides of the box were stamped with Grey Flannel and colored with Derwent Watercolor Pencils and the image on the top of the box was stamped with Paris Dusk and colored with Derwent Watercolor Pencils.  Attach the images where desired and then, stamp, die cut and distress some of those amazing flowers to finish your project.

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
