Viva la Verve! March Week 4

Hi there once again ladies,

This has been a good scrapping day!  This time I am entering a card in the Viva la Verve! challenge.

First off I have to thank Andrea for the lovely sketch.  I really have enjoyed these challenges and I have been a fan of Andrea’s work for some time.

The sketch that we were given to follow this week is a CAS sketch which I always have a hard time with (I persevered).

For my card I found this DP at one of my local Scrapbooking stores and fell in love with it right away.  The colors really caught my eye.  It has been sitting on my desk since I bought it, waiting for the right inspiration.

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.

        I’ve had a very busy weekend. We stayed home from our cottage this weekend and that usually means no play time. lol. I did get one card made…..now I just have to find time to take a pic and post it to my very neglected blog! Take care!
