Mojo Monday 266

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday so far!   : )

In between doing some housework chores today I wanted to play along with a challenge that I have not visited in quite some time and being the fact that tomorrow is Remembrance Day here in Canada and Veteran’s Day in the United States, I felt that this sentiment was very appropriate.  This lovely sentiment makes me think, when was the last time we actually thanked a Veteran?  Without their sacrifices we would not live in the world we live in today.

This week’s challenge at Mojo Monday is to create a card based on this sketch:

Here is my version of Julee’s great sketch:

I am also entering this card in the Wild Orchid Challenge –  Week 62 – Bling it up!

Have you checked out the November 2012 Stamp Collection from Verve yet?  They are amazing!

Thank you so much for popping by today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I love to read your comments, they just make my day!!

About Castlepark Designs

My name is Joann and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with my husband Miles. We have one son who is in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have worked full time in the Finance and Insurance industry for the past 29 years. I absolutely adore all things paper & glue and have been involved with crafting in some way for most of my life. I have a great admiration for creating projects from paper that may not necessarily be made from paper. When not in my craft room, I enjoy spending time at our cottage enjoying all that nature and suburban life has to offer.
